Growing up in the Pennsylvania suburbs of Philadelphia, Badlands Guitar Company brand ambassador Xander Raymond Charles got his first taste of the almighty riff through the family record collection. The Southern California hard rock sounds of Van Halen, Led Zeppelin's bluesy thunder, and the snarl of the Sex Pistols stoked a fascination with the guitar, but it wasn't until later that Xander tackled the instrument head-on. After a tour in the United States Army, Xander devoted his energy to making music.

 

Through a combination of formal music education and pure hustle, Xander has quickly established a reputation as a top-notch session musician, respected YouTube content creator, and first-call touring guitarist. He uses a BGC GX1 Gun Metal Gray New School to deliver his heavy brand of bounce.
