The GX1 Custom Color series is a limited, made-to-order instrument available in two different configurations, "Old School" and "New School," finished in three eye-catching colors: Arrest Me Red, White Wedding Pearl, Gunmetal Gray.
 
The Old School performance package pays tribute to the most popular features of '80s shredders: a tinted neck, Gotoh GE-1996T locking vibrato, and nickel frets.
 
The New School performance package showcases a modern take on the classic '80s high-performance axe with a natural-finished satin neck, stainless steel frets, and Gotoh 510 non-locking vibrato.
 
Both configurations feature:
Gotoh locking tuners
Exclusive USA made BGC M88 bridge humbucker and M81 neck single coil pickups. wound to our specifications.
Dual 250K/500K resistance shaft for optimal frequency response from each pickup.
A Gotoh/Hosco YM-T20 toggle switch
Recessed cavity control covers for both controls & trem cavities
Two-piece alder bodies

Every BGC guitar is built-to-order in limited batches.

Estimated delivery time is approximately 6-8* months from the time of purchase. We will do our best to provide as precise an estimate on time-to-deliver as possible.

Instrument returns are subject to a 25% hold-back as BGC will never sell a returned guitar as a new guitar. Because our guitars are built to order, any cancellation request is also subject to a 15% hold back to cover non-recoverable transaction fees. As a small company operating on tight margins, we appreciate your understanding!

*If at any point we experience delays ( e.g., supply chain or any other unforeseen circumstances), all orders will ship no later than 12 months and the BGC Team will communicate updates and timelines with each customer.

*Given Badlands Guitar Company is registered in the State of New Jersey, sales tax will be collected for purchases that ship to New Jersey at the current sales tax rate (calculated at check-out).
